Well, today marks week 26 of my very first pregnancy. I am feeling baby boy (who shall remain nameless until my husband and I can agree on a name :-) move more and more. My husband had been complaining because every time the baby was moving he'd put his hand on my belly and the baby would stop. I found it quite entertaining, my husband did not. Anyhoo, the other night little baby boy finally cooperated and started kicking up a storm during a "talk session" where my husband lays his head on my belly and talks to our son. He was rather ecstatic over the long over due movement and it brought huge smiles to both our faces.
I am now starting to hit that uncomfortable stage where sleep is hit and miss (no more than about 3 consecutive hours in a row) bending over to pick something off the floor is a chore, and I prefer slip on shoes to anything that needs to be tied. He has finally moved up in my belly so I have had some much needed bladder relief which has been a tiny blessing and am wondering how long it will last...lol. Everyone keeps telling me to just wait, if I think I'm uncomfortable now, wait until about the 8th month...oh joy. Actually, I have thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of my pregnancy so far. I've been lucky though, with no morning sickness and only normal aches and pains to deal with. I am very thankful and blessed and praise the Lord for the precious boy growing inside me every day.
